Eligibility
All branches of the Army Reserve are open to men and women; however, like any employer, we have certain criteria you have to meet. You must:
- Be a Canadian Citizen;
- Be of good character;
- Meet the minimum age requirements for your entry plan;
- Meet all minimum educational requirements for your entry plan;
- Meet all medical and enrolment standards;
- Successfully complete the pre-enrolement fitness evaluation;

The John Weir Foote, VC Armoury - which is names after a famous "Riley", at 200 James Street North, is open Tuesday evenings when the Regiment conducts weekly training.
The Canadian Forces Recuiting Centre at 100 Main St. East, (905) 972-4011 is another local source of information on the Militia - Canada's Army Reserve.
